![]() No Brush Project:Using no brushes, this is a recreation of an oil painting on a 4'x8' using only Rosco off-Broadway Vinyl Acrylic | ![]() Carved BOS relief with lightUsing one directional lighting to display the 3Dimmentional carving of the BOS relief. | ![]() Carved BOS reliefThis piece was caved out of a 2' x 2' x 2" piece of white foam. Using tools such as cheese grater, popsicle sticks, matt knives, fillet knives, dermal tools and sandpaper this image was grated after transferring a drawing onto the foam surface. After carving the surface was covered with a mixture of sculpt-a-coat, Rosco crystal gel, and water. Once dry the image was painted using a variety of Rosco Off Broadway paints and sealed with a thin layer of Rosco Flexbond. |

![]() Sign pounceThis is a photo of the drawing used to create a pounce for the sign image flowing. | ![]() Lonely Sign Painting with 3 sizesThis 4' x 4' piece of muslin was measured into 3 equal sections and primed with starch, animal glue, and white latex respectively. A pink marble was then painted across all three surfaces using Rosco Off Broadway Paints. Then using scenic ink in purple the sign image was transferred from the original drawing. ![]() Van Gogh FrontA 7'6"x7'6" translucency of Van Gogh's "Midnight at the Cafe". Sized with animal glue in a Hudson external sprayer and a layin brush. It was painted using universal tints in black and white mixed with Minwax polycrylic. This image was sealed using a watered down Minwax Plycrylic solution. This image was taken before pulling up the staples and flipping the piece of muslin to paint a fully colored version of Van Gogh's "Midnight at the Cafe" on the revers . | ![]() Van Gogh BackA 7'6"x7'6" translucency of Van Gogh's "Midnight at the Cafe". Sized with animal glue in a Hudson external sprayer and a layin brush. It was painted using Rosco Supper Saturated scenic paints mixed with Minwax polycrylic. Also, textured rollers with a watered down Minwax ploycrylic solution were used to bring out the original artist's brush texture between layers of color.
